Local Community Support Through Tours

We Believe in Helping Others

At Chucktown Walking Tours, we appreciate our good fortune and affirm our commitment to supporting others in our community. While we may not have the ability to cure illnesses or match the remarkable support provided by other organizations, we firmly believe that providing a few hours of enjoyment through our walking tours can contribute positively.

Chucktown Tours, in collaboration with our other Charleston Tour Group brands, Blueberry Tours and Blue Hippo Tours, is devoted to donating walking tours to individuals staying at The Ronald McDonald House, The Fisher House for Veterans’ Families, and The Hope Lodge. If you’re aware of someone staying at one of these remarkable places in Charleston, encourage them to connect with the staff or reach out to us directly. We are committed to ensuring they have an exceptional tour experience of Charleston at no charge.

RMHC of Greater Charleston provides comfort and care to families of sick or injured children from across the Carolinas, the country, and the world, who are receiving treatment at area medical facilities in Charleston, South Carolina.

Fisher House Charleston is all about giving back to our patriots who have secured our freedom. We make sure the families of our heroes are close when they are being treated at Charleston’s Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.

Local community support

The Hope Lodge team members are committed to providing a nurturing home away from home for our guests in Charleston. Support from volunteers and local organizations is critical to the American Cancer Society’s mission of providing free lodging to cancer patients and families.
